Self-esteem is the key to success and prosperity.  This is the goodness that encourages us to face challenges, make decisions, and move toward our dreams.  However, many people think that self-esteem is a "natural gift" that only comes to a few lucky people.  The fact is that self-esteem is an ability that can be fostered through daily exercises and through little habits.  The following are 7 habits that will gradually strengthen your self-esteem.  


1. Learn to Say "no" to Negative Thoughts 

Our mind often compels us to kneel, as it seems: "You won't happen", "You're not good enough", or "What would people say?"  Recognizing these negative ideas and rejecting them is the first ladder of self-esteem.  Whenever a negative idea comes, ask yourself: "Is it really so? Is there a real basis for this idea?"  For example, if you think "I can't do this", remember your past achievements and think: "I have done difficult things before, I can still do it".  


2. Make "Prefer" Self 

Self-esteem grows when you start to give importance to yourself.  This does not mean that you become selfish, but rather give your physical and mental health first priority.  Exercise 30 minutes daily, increase the use of water and meet sleep.  When you feel your body is healthy, the brain will remain positive too.  Also, take the time for yourself: read a book, listen to music, or go alone.  These small steps tell you that "you are attention".
